Kilroy's Bar N' Grill slams Holly Jones on dying 'junkie' patron Facebook rant

And the "foot in mouth" prize goes to an Indianapolis hairdresser for her New Year's Eve Facebook rant. NBC 10 reported on Jan. 4 that Holly Jones blasted the local Indy pub at which she was partying because they showed more concern over a dying patron than her. Jones posted a Facebook rant on Kilroy's Bar N' Grill page, over what she thought was a death by overdose. Jones decried the disgusting spectacle, saying that watching the dead body of an overdosed "junkie" be carried out ruined her meal. Holly Jones claimed the waitress screamed and swore at them when they didn't understand their $700 bill. She railed at the server for being more worried over a dying patron than explaining their bill. The irate Jones ended her f-word laced Facebook rant by calling the waitress a complete b--ch who knew she could treat customers poorly because she would get an automatic tip.  Kilroy's Bar N' Grill slams Holly Jones on dying patron 'junkie' Facebook rant | Examiner.com

WHO: Antibiotics create superbug antibiotic resistance, post-antibiotic world

Madonna says "we are living in a material world" but the World Health Organization (WHO) says it's much scarier than that. WHO warns of a horrifying post-antibiotic world. reported the BBC on Nov. 19. Antibiotics misuse has caused global superbug resistance to infection fighting drugs. Sound like something out of Ray Bradbury? Well, this isn't a Twilight Zone sci-fi thriller--it's Earth: 2015 where antibiotics resistance can and is turning common ailments into superbug killers. WHO adds that world-wide misunderstandings about illness and the role of antibiotics is causing this post-antibiotic world.  WHO: Antibiotics create superbug antibiotic resistance, post-antibiotic world | Examiner.com

Parents blame stores for Christmas toy fights, spoiled teens temper tantrums | Examiner.com

Do you want to read some depressing Christmas statistics? Black Friday Christmas spending shot up 13 percent in 2015, reported Biz Report on Nov. 30. But the primary recipients of those gifts--kids--are getting greedier and brattier at the holidays, say their parents. Every Christmas you read about toy fights at stores, outrageous behavior from selfish children and the ridiculous lengths indulgent parents will go to for their spoiled kids. But Christmas 2015 hit new lows for greed, entitlement and audacity. Parents blame stores for Christmas toy fights and for their spoiled teens temper tantrums. Yes, you read that correctly--spoiled teens--61 percent of parents expect Christmas temper tantrums from their 18+ kids over gifts. Parents are not ashamed of this attitude of ingratitude--they believe manufacturers would prevent toy fights if they just made more. Parents blame stores for shorting them and making their spoiled teens make life miserable at Christmas. Talk about natural selection at its best.  Pardon me if this post reads a little ranty--I'm just sickened that any parent would make excuses for such obnoxious behavior from their teens. I'm horrified that parents could find fault with anyone other than themselves for children's greediness. Parents blame stores for Christmas toy fights, spoiled teens temper tantrums | Examiner.com

Skip holiday gift exchanges and donate Christmas presents to needy children

Random gift exchanges are silly. There is no sense, financial or common, in trading gifts with extended family or people you're not close to. Times are tight and many can't afford frivolous gift exchanges. They don't want to waste money on a meaningless token gift. So here's a plan: skip holiday gift exchanges and donate Christmas presents to needy children.Skip holiday gift exchanges and donate Christmas presents to needy children | Examiner.com
